Do you ever remember waiting that final week for something so exciting that it began to drag on as if time was standing still. I am glad I have that feeling right now. I am staying calm and preparing everything I can so that Allen will not have a lot of stuff to worry about. I am happy he will join us for two weeks. I dread the departure though. As I am told it is harder to say goodbye the second time. I am glad that I will have friends nearby that I can lean on when that day arrives.
On a side note. I went paintballing for the first time. It was so much fun. I felt like a kid again and got so muddy my pants nearly fell off of me.LOL They were actually my husbands pants, so they were really big to begin with. I wasn't too muddy till our driver got the truck stuck in the mud and we had to hop out and push. It took about an hour to get it out. While we were pushing I happened to be placed right behind on of the wheels. In the beginning it wasn't too bad, but once it started making contact with the ground, mud was flying all over me. It was a very slick job, as I strained to not fall flat on my face. It would not have mattered, as I looked like the mud monster off of Scooby Doo anyway when it was all said and done.
But, it has turned into a fun memory and I loved being out, acting like a kid, and being totally free to crawl in the dirt, splash in the mud and not feel like life has passed me by. So there, you have just discovered my new favorite sport...Paintballing. Now the question remains....will it be that way when I have actually been hit and received a bruise from this.

Daddy is that you?
It is funny to think that there are those that who are sad when hubby leaves for two weeks to work out of town. I am lucky that i get my hubby home for two weeks this year. He is flying in sometime at the end of this month and leavig around his birthday. I am so happy to have him in our home again. I ache for his presence and to be able to hold him. I know that the kids feel the same way. I look forward to seeing thier faces when they get to sit on daddy's lap and hug and kiss all over him. I am crying right now because I miss him that much. So I will leave this post as it is. Do not need anyone seeing a tear streaked posting. LOL
I will let you know how it went. The good bye is always hardest....but the hello will be divine indeed.
